Mini-Series Architecture
The TrueNAS Mini-Series is a compact and energy-efficient storage solution, available in three configurations: Mini X, Mini X+, and Mini R. These systems are designed for small to medium businesses, remote offices, and home labs, offering a balance of performance, reliability, and quiet operation.
The Mini X and Mini X+ are compact 5+2 bay systems with up to 105 TB of raw capacity, while the rack-mountable Mini R features a 12-bay design supporting up to 216 TB. Each system can be configured with scalable Hybrid capacity or high-performance All-Flash options, ensuring flexibility for diverse workloads.
The Mini-Series is engineered for low power consumption, with diskless systems consuming as little as 24W. All models include TrueNAS CORE software, with an upgrade option to TrueNAS Enterprise for advanced features and support. For streamlined management of single or multiple TrueNAS systems, the optional TrueCommand service (licensed separately) can be integrated.
